The Blue Ridge Mountains Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution are sponsoring a once in a lifetime Blairsville Parade for America’s 250th Birthday, Saturday, July 4th, beginning at 10 am in beautiful Downtown Blairsville, GA!

They look forward to a large turnout showing a sincere display of American patriotism and support. Please bring your families & friends out to enjoy the parade & celebrate America's 250th!

The DDA will be providing FREE Patriotic Face Painting & Popcorn down in front of City Hall 9-11AM. Bring the kids by!

Their coordinating team is judging a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finish for the most American patriotic displays for recognition. To be eligible for competition, please incorporate this theme into your participation and be checked-in by 9:30 am at the empty lot of the former recreation gym at 371 School Circle, Blairsville, GA 30512. At the minimum, entries are asked to respectively display the American Flag.

Please spread the word, and let's bring a HUGE turnout to downtown for this very special event! Many of our downtown storefronts will have beautiful window displays and sales to enjoy as well.
