    CHAIRMAN

    Zachary Edmonds is the Managing Partner of Craft Hospitality Collective, a brand of locally celebrated restaurant and hospitality concepts. As a passionate restaurateur and entrepreneur, he believes hospitality is more than an idea — it’s a powerful catalyst for economic empowerment, cultural connection, and long-term business development. His mission is to create spaces that nourish not only customers, but also the neighborhoods and networks within.

    CHRIS WADLE

    VICE-CHAIRMAN

    Chris Wadle is a business and property owner who conducted the first major renovation of a downtown building in Blairsville!  He loves our local community and looks on with anticipation as  it's future progress in a positive way. His passion for architecture/design, business aptitude, and economic development drive him to serve on the DDA as vice-chair.

    SECRETARY

    Megan Kimsey is CEO of Grandaddy Mimm's Distilling Co. and has served as both Chair and Secretary for the Blairsville DDA. She loves the emphasis our downtown places on history and heritage and believes in the DDA's goals of growing our local economy and supporting our small business community.

    Johnny Collins is a commercial real estate agent and consultant to a private family office, specializing in strategic investments and property development. Serving with the DDA is an opportunity he is both proud and grateful for, driven by his deep love for the people and the city of Blairsville, GA.

    ABBY WEAVER

    BOARD MEMBER

    Abby is a native of Union County & a graduate of Union County High School. She attended Truett McConnell University as well as North Georgia College and State University. Abby opened the Josephine Boutique in March 2023 and joined the DDA Board in January 2025. In her spare time, you can find her attending as many concerts as possible and petting all the animals she can find. Abby looks forward to helping make Downtown Blairsville the very best it can be while maintaining its small, hometown feel.

    CITY COUNCIL LIASON

    Rhonda Mahan has enjoyed serving on the DDA as the City Council’s liaison for several years. She is passionate about Downtown Development and building a bright future for the city while upholding the charming character that makes our community unique.

    BOARD MEMBER

    Daniel Davenport is a local attorney with the firm of Akins & Davenport, P.C. located on the Square in Downtown Blairsville.  Born and raised in Blairsville, Daniel has a firm commitment and interest in seeing the downtown area thrive and continue to be a safe hub for locals and visitors alike to fellowship, dine, shop and play.
